Description

Medium-ripening variety, obtained at the Institute of Fruit Growing of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus from crossing European varieties with Siberian subspecies forms and the variety Golubka. Author A.G. Voluznev. Since 1992, included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the West Siberian region.

Medium-height, medium-spreading bush. Growing shoots are medium-thick, straight, light-green, weakly shiny, with rose-violet tips covered with brown spots. Woody shoots are dark-gray, shiny, medium-thick, curved, covered with brown spots in the upper part. Buds are medium-sized, ovate, green, with pointed tips, pressed against the shoots. Terminal bud is free, green, medium-sized. Bud scales are medium-sized.

Leaf is five-lobed, medium-sized, dark-green, matte, slightly wrinkled, slightly concave, with sharp lobes and deep notches. Lobes' tips are sharp, angle of lateral lobes' departure is acute. Leaf base has a deep notch. Leaf teeth are short, blunt, not curled. Petiole is medium-length, green.

Flowers are medium-sized, grayish-red in color. Inflorescence is medium-sized, berries are arranged medium and densely. Peduncle is medium-length, green.

Berries are medium-sized (0.8 g), black, slightly elongated, shiny, with thin skin, dry detachment, sour (4.4 points), versatile use. Receptacle is round, closed, small. Chemical composition: soluble dry matter — 16.2%, sugar sum — 7.6%, titratable acidity — 2.0%, ascorbic acid — 213.2 mg/100 g, pectic substances (on fresh weight) — 1.2%.

Winter-hardy variety, high-yielding (13.7 t/ha), characterized by high self-fertility, no berry drop, moderately affected by American powdery mildew and leaf spot diseases.

Advantages of the variety: high yield.

Disadvantages of the variety: fungal diseases.
