Meteor

The Raspberry 'Meteor' variety is a berry culture with moderately branched bushes reaching a height of about 1.5-2 meters. The canes are powerful, straight, and covered with rare thorns, which facilitates care. The bushes have medium growth strength, with 20-25 canes per meter, ensuring high productivity. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, withstands severe frosts well, and has medium disease resistance, making it a reliable choice for growing in various climatic conditions.

The 'Meteor' raspberry berries have an ovoid-conical shape with a blunt end and reach a mass of 3 to 12 grams, which may vary depending on growing conditions. At full maturity, the fruits acquire an attractive ruby-red hue and a refined fruity aroma. The taste of the berries is pleasant, with a predominance of sweetness and a slight tartness, making them an excellent choice for fresh consumption and processing.

The variety belongs to early ones; the crop ripens at the end of June or even in the first half of the month, allowing for fresh berries as early as the beginning of summer. Yield is high and regular — up to 3 kg of berries can be collected from one sapling. For transport and moisture retention, saplings are often packed in special film, which facilitates their transplanting and further cultivation.
