Description Murovets
Introduced at the Minusinsk Experimental Garden and Vegetable Station from crossing the varieties 'Pervenets Minusinsk' and 'Zeleny Butylkovy' in 1952. Author E.P. Kuminov. Since 1974, included in the State Register of Selection Achievements approved for use in the East Siberian region.

Medium-height, medium-spreading, sparse bush. Moderate branching, inclined direction of branches. Non-woody shoots thick, straight, unbranched, light-green with a reddish tint. Woody shoots medium and thick, straight, brown, unbranched, light-brown. Thorns numerous, medium in length and thickness; triple at the base of shoots, single in the upper part, light-brown, bent downwards or positioned at a right angle to the shoot. Buds single, elongated, large, with a pointed apex, green with a reddish tint, unbranched, deviated, terminal single. Leaf scar wedge-shaped.

Leaf medium-sized, dark-green, glossy, surface wrinkled and leathery. Pubescence of lower part medium. Blade concave, with deeply indented veins. Teeth along the edge small and blunt. Vein color absent. Five lobes; central lobe long, lateral edges rounded. Lateral lobes medium-sized, rounded, tips directed sideways, angle between veins acute. Basal lobes moderately expressed, veins spreading. Leaf base straight. Depth of notch between central and lateral lobes medium, notch narrow and sharp. Angle between blade base and petiole straight. Petiole thick, long, pubescent along entire length, positioned on the shoot at an acute angle.

Flowers medium-sized, calyx lobes light-green, arrangement free, weak simple pubescence on ovary. Inflorescence single-flowered.

Berries medium to large (2.6–4.2 g), single, green with a 'sunburn' on the sun-exposed side, egg-shaped, with weak simple pubescence. Seeds small, medium quantity. Receptacle non-detaching, large, closed. Pedicel straight, short, green, thin. Skin medium thickness, strong vein network and branching, vein color lighter than main color. Taste sour-sweet, rating 3.8 points. Chemical composition: total sugar content — 5.8%, titratable acidity — 2.8%, ascorbic acid — 17.6 mg/100 g. Berries of universal use.

Highly winter-hardy, moderately drought-resistant, relatively resistant to diseases and pests, yield 65 centners/ha (1.8 kg/plant), moderate self-fertility.

Advantages of the variety: high winter-hardiness, good yield.

Disadvantages of the variety: berry drop upon overripening, medium taste quality, strong thorniness.
