Description Mysovsky 37
Medium-late maturing variety. Developed at the Moscow Fruit and Berry Experimental Station (now VSTISP) by crossing the varieties Hautton and Giant Lemon. Breeders: A.V. Petrov and M.N. Simonova. Introduced into the State Register of Selection Achievements in 1959, approved for use in the Middle Volga, Lower Volga, and Ural regions.

Strong-growing, moderately spreading bush under fruit load, dense, with strong branching and downward-leaning branches. Non-woody shoots of medium thickness, curved, green with weak gloss. Woody shoots of medium thickness, light gray in color, with anthocyanic coloring at shoot tips. Stripes present along the entire length of the shoots. Strong thorniness. Thorns single, double, and triple, directed downward along the entire length of the shoots. Thorn thickness medium, length 7–11 mm. Thorns present in the lower part of the shoots. Buds small, elongated, brown, with pointed, light tips, no hairs. Bud placement on the shoot opposite. Terminal bud single. Position relative to the shoot pressed.

Leaf medium-sized, green, with weak gloss. Young leaves hairy. Leaf surface moderately wrinkled, blade grass-like. Leaf blade slightly concave. Leaf margins large, tooth tips straight. Main vein color green. Three-lobed. Central lobe pointed, equal in length to lateral lobes. Central lobe edges trimmed straight to the base. Lateral lobes 3 cm long, 2 cm wide. Vein angles acute. Basal lobes present, with veins directed toward the base. Leaf base broad and straight. Cut between central and lateral lobes acute. Basal lobes moderately developed. Petiole notch rounded. Petiole 3 cm long, positioned on the shoot at a right angle.

Flowers medium-sized. Petals light green, hairless. Sepals broad, light green, slightly hairy. Reddish stripes present on the underside. During flowering, sepals bend upward. Calyx large, half-open. Inflorescence single- or three-flowered. Pedicel thick, short, dark green.

Berries medium-sized, weighing 3 g, round, dark red in color, with distinct veins and waxy bloom. Veins lighter than the main color, poorly branched. Skin firm, easy to detach. Seeds small, 19 in number. Taste sour-sweet, suitable for technical processing. Chemical composition: dry matter — 11.1%, total sugars — 7.8%, titratable acidity — 2.9%, ascorbic acid — 40 mg/100 g, anthocyanins — 90 mg/100 g.

Advantages of the variety: high frost and drought resistance, high annual yield, ease of propagation, excellent processing products — juice with pulp, jam, wine, freezing.

Disadvantages of the variety: dense bush, small berries, thorniness of shoots.
