Brusilovskaya raspberry is a remontant variety, meaning it produces two harvests per season: the first crop appears on last year's canes, and the second on new shoots in early August. The bushes reach a height of about 1.5 meters, have strong vertical canes with moderate thorns and branch well, forming a large number of shoots. This variety is suitable for both garden cultivation and industrial production due to its high yield and resilience.
The berries of Brusilovskaya raspberry are large, measuring about 15-22 mm, bright red or dark red in color, firm and uniform. Their flavor is tangy-sweet, rated 4.3-4.5 points, making them suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. The fruits store well, allowing harvest to be collected from June until late autumn frosts, and fresh berries can be consumed until early November.
Due to the firm structure of the berries, Brusilovskaya raspberry is excellent for freezing, making jams, pies, varenyky, and zefir. It can also be used to prepare drinks such as compotes, morsses, and kisels. The plant prefers sunny locations for planting and is a perennial that overwinters in the soil, ensuring stable fruiting over several seasons.
