About product
Description
Fairy variety berries are large, dark red in color with a shiny skin, round or truncated-conical in shape without a neck. The flesh is dense but not hard, juicy and aromatic, with a traditional tart-sweet taste and a woodland strawberry aftertaste. Taste qualities are highly valued; berries are versatile in use: they are excellent for fresh consumption as well as for processing and freezing. Fruit transportability and shelf life are at a high level, making the variety attractive for commercial cultivation, especially in regions with a cold climate.
Fairy is characterized by high yield and good adaptability to various soils with pH 5.0–6.5. The variety is resistant to diseases, pests, and frost, which facilitates agronomy and reduces risks during cultivation. Fruiting begins in mid-May, and berries ripen by mid-June, continuing for a sufficient period. More than 500 grams of berries can be obtained from each bush, although the fruits may become slightly smaller in the last harvests. Due to its characteristics and versatility, the Fairy variety is popular among gardeners and commercial producers.
