Apricot

The 'Apricot' raspberry variety is a remontant variety with yellow, amber-apricot berries that are characterized by their large size and juicy, tender pulp. The berries have a blunt-conic shape, weighing from 3 to 11 grams, with a delicate raspberry aroma and a sweet-sour taste with a pronounced aroma. This variety is valued for its dessert qualities, which are suitable for both fresh consumption and various types of processing.

'Apricot' raspberry bushes are medium-sized, reaching heights from 130 to 200 cm, with erect, heavily branching canes and thin, downward-bending spines, located primarily in the lower and middle parts of the canes. Leaves are of medium size, green and slightly wrinkled. The plant has high resistance to diseases and pests, as well as medium frost hardiness, which allows it to be grown in various climatic conditions, including southern areas of Moscow Region and all climatic zones of Ukraine.

The variety is distinguished by high yield - up to 1.5-2 kg per bush or 9-11 tons per hectare. Fruiting is remontant, with two harvests: the first week of August and continuing until frost, which ensures a long harvesting period from July to September. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to plant bushes in sunny places with a distance of up to 1.5 meters between plants, as well as provide timely watering and fertilization, especially after snow melting. Due to its taste qualities and nutritional value, including high vitamin C content, 'Apricot' raspberry is popular among both adults and children.
