Raspberry Akvarel

Why the Aquarelle Raspberry Variety is a Benchmark for Early Harvests

For farmers targeting the fresh market, the first harvest is always synonymous with maximum profit margins. The Aquarelle variety from FANTZA fulfills this demand by offering a stable production cycle with early maturation. Unlike many varieties designed exclusively for industrial drying, Aquarelle combines the aesthetic appeal of commercial-grade berries with high-level agricultural performance.

Agronomic Characteristics and Potential

The key advantage of this variety is the balance between high productivity (4–6 kg per bush) and excellent transportability. The 3–5g berries feature a vibrant red color and a firm texture, which is critical for post-harvest storage. Their sweet flavor makes them highly sought after by both wholesale buyers and retail chains.

• Winter Hardiness: Robust performance allows for cultivation in regions with harsh climatic conditions without compromising yield potential.
• Processing and Freezing: Thanks to its firm skin, Aquarelle withstands deep freezing exceptionally well, retaining its shape upon thawing.
• Consistency: FANTZA’s breeding standards ensure predictable harvest results when basic agrotechnical practices are maintained.

If you are looking for a variety that maintains integrity during transport and delivers stable berry weight even under intensive cropping, Aquarelle will serve as a reliable cornerstone for your operation.
