Raspberry VASENA

The 'Vasena' raspberry variety is an early remontant variety developed by the Russian NPO 'Gardens of Russia'. Bushes of this variety reach a height of 2-2.2 meters and form powerful, upright canes with sparse and weakly prickly thorns, which facilitates plant care. The berries are large, weighing 8-10 grams, have a conical shape and a bright red color, which darkens at full maturity; meanwhile, the fruits do not fall off the branches, which contributes to the ease of harvesting.

Vasena is distinguished by its sweet dessert flavor with a pronounced aroma of wild raspberry, making it attractive both for fresh consumption and for winter preparations. The berries have good density, which ensures average transportability and preservation during transport. Support for high canes with tying is recommended, which helps maintain the quality of the harvest.

This raspberry variety is characterized by high yield and resistance to fungal and viral diseases, as well as winter hardiness, making it a reliable choice for gardeners seeking a stable and abundant harvest. Vasena combines attractive taste qualities, ease of cultivation, and resistance to adverse conditions, which is confirmed by its recognition and awards at international exhibitions.
