Trudie

Trudie — this is a high-yielding winter rapeseed hybrid developed by Saatbau Linz. It belongs to the early-maturing '00' type and is characterized by a strong root system, providing high drought resistance and winter hardiness. Rapeseed Trudie is suitable for early sowing, as it does not tend to overgrow in the autumn, allowing efficient use of the sowing window from August 5 to September 5 at various seeding rates.

The hybrid demonstrates stable high yields even under drought conditions, reaching a potential yield of up to 60 t/ha. Plants reach a height of 125-150 cm, exhibiting high resistance to lodging and shattering, which contributes to yield retention. Additionally, Trudie features high oil content and low levels of glucosinolates and erucic acid, improving product quality.

Trudie exhibits high resistance to major rapeseed diseases, including phoma, black leg, downy mildew, sclerotinia, alternaria, and bacterial blight. This makes it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The hybrid is available in packages of 1.5 million seeds or 8 kg, convenient for farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high-quality yield.
