Sirius

Sirius is a cold-resistant, early-maturing hybrid of yellow rape, developed by individual selection from a hybrid population of varieties. It is characterized by strong seed germination energy, ensuring reliable growth even under adverse climatic conditions. The hybrid's vegetation period ranges from 85 to 100 days, allowing for early harvest. Plant height reaches approximately 155 cm, which is optimal for achieving high productivity.

The Sirius hybrid has a high oil content — approximately 46.2-46.6%, as well as low levels of erucic acid (0.0-0.05%) and glucosinolates (0.4%), making it valuable for producing high-quality oil. Additionally, protein content is around 23%, enhancing the nutritional value of the product. The hybrid's yield potential reaches 60-67 c/ha, depending on growing conditions, making it profitable for agricultural enterprises.

Sirius is characterized by high resistance to major diseases and stress factors such as lodging, drought, pod shattering, fusarium, black leg, powdery mildew, sclerotinia, alternaria, and bacterial blight. This ensures stable yields even under unfavorable conditions. The recommended sowing rate is 650,000–700,000 seeds per hectare for early sowing and 700,000–750,000 for optimal sowing, which helps maximize the hybrid's potential.
