The winter oilseed rape variety "Kleopatra," developed by NUBiP of Ukraine, is a population-type hybrid bred for high-performance intensive farming. Its primary strength lies in the synergy between biological resilience and premium grain quality parameters.

Phytosanitary Resistance and Crop Protection

The variety is genetically hardwired to minimize the risks associated with major field pathogens. "Kleopatra" demonstrates strong innate resistance to a broad spectrum of fungal threats:

• Phoma, Alternaria, and Sclerotinia: High field resistance allows for reduced fungicide reliance during critical growth stages.
• Root rots and Blackleg: Enhanced protection of the root collar and crown ensures stable development and successful overwintering.
• Bacteriosis and Downy Mildew: Superior resistance ensures a healthy leaf canopy, vital for photosynthetic efficiency throughout the season.

Agronomic Performance and Management

The plants reach a stature of 160–170 cm, creating a robust architectural framework for high pod density. The oil content in the seeds ranges from 45% to 50%. The variety also maintains a low erucic acid content and a glucosinolate level between 9 and 10 µmol, meeting high-quality industrial standards.

Operational efficiency is further bolstered by the variety's resistance to Clearfield herbicides, granting growers superior control over weeds without causing chemical stress to the crop.
