Kleopatra

Winter rapeseed variety Cleopatra is a highly productive mid-early maturing crop with a vegetation period of 305-310 days. Plants reach a height of 160 to 175 cm, ensuring good resistance to wind loads and lodging. Seeds are characterized by high oil content — 46 to 48%, low erucic acid content (0.0–0.5%) and glucosinolates (about 0.4%), making this variety attractive for producing high-quality oil and feed. The 1000-seed mass is 3–3.5 grams, which facilitates uniform and effective sowing.

Cleopatra variety stands out for its high winter hardiness and resistance to various diseases, including fusarium, blackleg, peronosporosis, sclerotiniosis, alternaria, and bacterial diseases. Additionally, the crop demonstrates high drought tolerance and resistance to lodging, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions. Rapeseed is resistant to Roundup herbicide and its analogs, tolerating up to 4 liters of glyphosate salts, which simplifies weed control and improves agronomic efficiency.

The recommended growing zones for Cleopatra variety are forest-steppe and steppe regions, although it is suitable for all regions of Ukraine due to its adaptability to growing conditions. The recommended seeding rate is 500–800 thousand seeds per hectare or 5–6 kg/ha. With intensive management and proper care, yields can reach up to 70 centners per hectare, while the average yield over test years is 35–40 centners per hectare. Seeds undergo comprehensive preparation, including treatment with imidacloprid, thiamethoxam, microfertilizers, and growth stimulators, ensuring high germination and plant development.
