The TRUMPF rapeseed hybrid is an early, low-growing variety with very high yield potential and excellent lodging resistance. Due to its compact structure and low lateral branch formation, this hybrid exhibits high lodging resistance, allowing for quick and loss-free harvest. TRUMPF demonstrates intensive lateral root development, promoting efficient nutrient use and ensuring stable growth even under challenging conditions. Average yield ranges from 48.5 to 59 c/ha, confirmed by trials in various regions of Ukraine, including Western Ukraine and the Kyiv region.
TRUMPF features high winter hardiness and rapid autumn development, making it suitable for both early and late sowing. The hybrid is well-adapted to various soil types, including podzolic, medium loamy, and heavy soils, as well as sandy soils with adequate moisture. High resistance to diseases such as phoma and sclerotinia, as well as pests, ensures reliable protection and contributes to maintaining crop quality. The oil content of the seeds is high, reaching approximately 47.4%.
A key feature of TRUMPF is its early flowering and rapid pod formation, which reduces the negative impact of potential drought in early summer. The hybrid also exhibits high resistance to premature pod cracking and is suitable for short-term stand interruption. Thanks to its excellent response to growth regulators, TRUMPF allows for low spring application rates of retardants, further enhancing its lodging resistance and crop quality. Plant height is approximately 155-165 cm, corresponding to a medium-high growth type.
