Makro — a classic fast-growing winter rapeseed hybrid with high suitability for late sowing. It features a medium-early maturity period of approximately 305 days and vigorous early growth, ensuring rapid autumn and spring development. The hybrid exhibits high winter hardiness, enabling successful overwintering under various climatic conditions in Ukraine, and possesses strong regenerative capacity in spring and excellent drought tolerance.

Makro demonstrates stable yield performance under any growing conditions, with a potential yield of up to 71 centners/ha and an average actual yield of around 50 centners/ha. The hybrid is resistant to lodging, pod cracking, and shows high tolerance to major diseases such as phomopsis, sclerotinia, black leg, downy mildew, alternaria, and bacterial blight. These characteristics make it a reliable choice for regions with insufficient and adequate moisture, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe zones.

The sowing unit contains 1,500,000 seeds, sufficient for sowing an area of 2.5 to 3.0 hectares, weighing 9 kg. The recommended sowing rate ranges from 350,000 to 750,000 seeds per hectare, depending on the growing region. The hybrid is cultivated using traditional methods and undergoes fungicide and insecticide treatments (thiamethoxam and imidacloprid), further enhancing its resistance to pests and diseases. High oil content (approximately 46%) and low levels of glucosinolates and erucic acid make Makro attractive for producing high-quality rapeseed oil.
