SMILLA

Smilla is a hybrid of winter rapeseed (Brassica napus var. napus) with ultra-early maturity, characterized by high plasticity and adapted to cultivation in arid regions with short growing seasons. This variety is low-growing, which ensures resistance to lodging and pod cracking, and allows efficient use of autumn-winter soil moisture. Smilla is especially in demand in northern latitudes, where growing conditions require early-maturing and stress-tolerant crops.

The yield potential of Smilla is high, and in state variety trials, this hybrid has shown results comparable to later-maturing varieties. The average seed yield reaches 14.6 t/ha, and oil content in seeds ranges from 42.6% to 44.8%, making this variety attractive for oilseed production. The hybrid responds well to application of organic and mineral fertilizers, contributing to stable and high yields even under challenging climatic conditions.
