Rapeseed GENEROSO

The Genetic Foundation of 'Generoso' Yield

The winter oilseed rape 'Generoso' by Lidea is an example of high-tech breeding, focusing not only on gross yield but also on stability under stress-prone farming conditions. The French genetics of this hybrid are oriented towards risk management: the manufacturer has incorporated a robust protection block against pathogens that traditionally claim up to 30% of a crop.

Phytosanitary Barrier

The key feature of 'Generoso' is its complex resistance to a wide range of diseases. Technically, this translates into strong immunity against phoma and sclerotinia, which often cause lodging and premature tissue necrosis. Protection against alternaria and root rot keeps the leaves' photosynthetic surface active for as long as possible, which is critical during pod filling.

Sowing Density Technology

The simple linear architecture of this hybrid allows for flexible adaptation to soil preparation quality. The recommended seeding rate varies from 500,000 to 800,000 seeds per hectare, giving agronomists the ability to adjust density based on sowing dates and regional moisture availability. When agronomic standards are followed, 'Generoso' demonstrates a high yield potential of 60–70 c/ha.

• Type: Winter oilseed rape, simple linear hybrid.
• Defense Profile: High resistance to bacteriosis and downy mildew.
• Potential: Stable 60–70 c/ha under intensive management.
• Agronomic Flexibility: Adjustable stand density from 500k to 800k plants per hectare.
