SYRIUS

Syrius is a linear hybrid of classic spring rape that stands out for its high yield and stability. It belongs to early-maturing varieties with a maturation period of 85 to 95 days. Plants reach a height of about 155 cm and possess strong seed germination energy, ensuring good germination and crop development. The hybrid is frost-hardy, allowing for successful cultivation in various climatic zones, including the south, east, west, north, and center of Ukraine.

Syrius is characterized by a high oil content in seeds—about 46.2-46.6%, as well as a high protein level (about 23%). The mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 4.8 grams. The potential yield of the hybrid reaches 67 c/ha, while the average yield over the years of testing ranges from 40 to 46 c/ha, with maximum indicators reaching up to 60 c/ha. The hybrid demonstrates an excellent price-to-quality ratio, making it attractive for agricultural producers.

One of the key advantages of Syrius is its high resistance to various diseases and stress factors. The hybrid is resistant to drought, shattering, lodging, as well as diseases such as phoma, black leg, peronosporosis, sclerotinia, alternaria, and bacterial disease. The level of disease damage remains low, which contributes to preserving the yield and seed quality. Seeds are delivered in branded four-layer paper bags and treated with fungicidal and insecticidal seed dressings, providing additional protection and guaranteeing high product quality.
