The rapeseed hybrid Haydn is a high-yielding mid-late maturing variety with a vegetation period of 300 to 315 days. It is characterized by slow development in the autumn, preventing overgrowth, and a medium flowering period. Plant height reaches 135-160 cm, contributing to good resistance to lodging and shattering. Due to its high winter hardiness and drought tolerance, the hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including early sowing and late harvest. Haydn is distinguished by high oil content, low glucosinolate levels, and very low erucic acid content, making its product high quality and in demand. The hybrid's yield potential is 50-55 centners per hectare, confirming its effectiveness for intensive farming. Recommended sowing dates range from early (August 5-10) to late (September 1-5), with seeding rates of 350,000 to 600,000 seeds per hectare depending on sowing time. The hybrid Haydn exhibits high resistance to major rapeseed diseases, including phomopsis, blackleg, downy mildew, sclerotinia, alternaria, and bacterial blight. This ensures stable yields and reduces the need for intensive chemical protection.
