Raudis

The hybrid variety of bright rapeseed Raudis is a high-yielding 00-type with a short vegetation period of 85-90 days. It is characterized by high yield up to 60 c/ha and high oil content — 48.6%. Plants reach a height of about 155 cm, and the 1000-seed weight is 3.9-4.5 g. This hybrid was developed by the Ukrainian breeding company Rapsoil and is intended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones.

Raudis has high resistance to major stress factors and diseases. It demonstrates excellent resistance to lodging, wilting, and drought, confirmed by resistance ratings of 8.5-8.9 out of 10. Additionally, the hybrid is resistant to diseases such as fomoz, black root rot, powdery mildew, sclerotinia, alternaria, and bacterial blight. Winter hardiness is also at a high level, ensuring reliable cultivation under various climatic conditions.

A distinctive feature of the hybrid is the ability to apply glyphosate-based herbicides, including Roundup, which facilitates weed control. High seed germination energy promotes rapid and uniform emergence, and the recommended seeding rate is 650 to 1100 thousand seeds per hectare. Raudis is suitable for intensive cultivation technologies and ensures stable yields even under dry climate conditions.
