Rapeseed DK Exaura is a mid-season hybrid selection of Dekalb, featuring high yield potential up to 60 c/ha and stable oil content at 47–48%. This hybrid is characterized by very high winter hardiness and intensive branching, ensuring rapid autumn development and early flowering. Due to its adaptability to soil-climatic conditions, DK Exaura is suitable for cultivation across all regions of Ukraine, demonstrating good adaptation to various soil management systems and mineral nutrition levels.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including phoma (RLM7), turnip yellow mosaic virus (TuYV), as well as pod cracking and lodging. These traits contribute to forming stable and high-quality yields with increased oil content. High nitrogen nutrition is recommended for DK Exaura, which helps maximize the hybrid’s potential.
For sowing, a rate of 400–500 thousand seeds per hectare is recommended, depending on timing: early (August 10–15), optimal (August 15–25), and late (August 25 – September 5). Double application of morphoregulators is recommended for early sowing, while their use is mandatory for optimal sowing. This approach ensures optimal plant density and helps achieve maximum hybrid productivity.
