The hybrid winter rapeseed DK Exodus is characterized by very high yield and excellent winter hardiness, making it a reliable choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. The plants are strong and frost-resistant, with high oil content in seeds — from 45 to 48% — ensuring high oil productivity. This variety is characterized by high resistance to pod cracking, which reduces yield losses during harvest and storage.
DK Exodus demonstrates excellent response to intensification of cultivation technology. High autumn growth rates allow maximum extension of the sowing period, while slow spring vegetation recovery protects growth points from spring frosts. The hybrid can compensate for population heterogeneity through active lateral branching, which helps quickly fill gaps between plants and increases overall planting density.
DK Exodus is recommended for cultivation in the Polissya and Steppe regions of Ukraine. Optimal sowing rates are 45 seeds per square meter to achieve the target density of 40 plants. Sowing is possible within optimal timing; late sowing is not recommended. To enhance yield, fungicides with growth regulator function and spring nitrogen fertilization at up to 180 kg N/ha, divided into two applications, are recommended. Plant height reaches 125–140 cm, flowering is late, corresponding to the medium-maturing group. The hybrid also exhibits good resistance to phomopsis and drought, further enhancing its adaptability and yield stability.
