GEFEST KWS

GEFEST KWS is an early spring rapeseed hybrid of type 00 (erucic acid-free, low glucosinolate), developed by German breeders of KWS SAAT SE. It is characterized by an average-early maturation period with a vegetation period of 95-100 days and synchronous ripening, which ensures uniform and timely crop maturation. Plants reach a height of 105-108 cm and have very strong lateral branching, which contributes to an increase in productive area and yield.

The hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to drought and diseases, making it particularly valuable for cultivation in continental climate conditions. The mass of 1000 seeds is 3.2-3.6 g, and the oil content of seeds reaches 44.5%, ensuring a high oil output – up to 6.2 centners/hectare. The yield potential of GEFEST KWS exceeds 42 centners/hectare, while stable results are confirmed by multi-year trials in various regions, including the Moscow, Bryansk, and Oryol regions, as well as regions of Kazakhstan.

The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in regions 2 and 10, as well as in the Aktobe, Kostanay, and North-Kazakhstan regions.
