Rapeseed FURIOSO

Stress Adaptation and Field Resilience

The German breeding of the Furioso (F1) hybrid is focused on minimizing risks in volatile climatic conditions. In field trials, the hybrid demonstrates high plasticity: a robust root system allows for efficient moisture uptake from deep soil horizons, which is critical during summer droughts. The plant exhibits significant lodging resistance, facilitating harvest even under high-yield conditions and adverse weather prior to collection.

Phytosanitary Profile and Development

The genetic potential of Furioso includes comprehensive protection against key rapeseed pathogens. The hybrid shows excellent resistance to phoma and verticillium, reducing the need for additional fungicide applications. Early autumn development allows the crop to form a strong rosette, ensuring successful overwintering. Spring regrowth is dynamic, with rapid stem elongation, allowing the plant to avoid peak temperature stress during the flowering period.

Cultivation Zone Recommendations

With its registration in Ukraine in 2026, the hybrid is adapted to a wide range of soil and climatic conditions across the country. It delivers stable results in both intensive cultivation systems and fields with moderate management levels. Furioso is an optimal choice for farms aiming for predictable yields while minimizing losses from environmental stress factors.
