The high-yielding rapeseed hybrid Andalusia from Limagrain Europe, registered in Ukraine in 2026, requires strict adherence to agronomic protocols to realize its genetic potential. As an F1 hybrid, it demonstrates significant plasticity, yet it remains highly dependent on the quality of seedbed preparation.

Optimal sowing dates and plant density

To ensure uniform emergence and the development of a robust root system before winter dormancy, sowing should be conducted within the optimal window for the specific region. Delayed sowing significantly reduces winter hardiness. The recommended plant density at harvest is 40–50 plants per square meter. It is crucial to maintain a sowing depth of 2–3 cm to ensure rapid contact with soil moisture.

Soil requirements and nutrient management

Andalusia thrives in well-structured soils with a neutral to slightly acidic pH (6.0–7.0). The hybrid is highly responsive to intensive mineral fertilization.
