Rapeseed PLAYMAKER

European breeding for Ukrainian fields

The winter oilseed rape hybrid "Playmaker" is the result of years of work by breeders at Limagrain Europe. Created in Germany, this first-generation hybrid (F1) embodies modern approaches to increasing the productivity of oilseed crops. In 2026, the variety was officially registered in Ukraine, paving the way for its widespread adoption in the country's agricultural production.

Technological potential

Choosing "Playmaker" for the sowing campaign is a bet on the stability established by German specialists. As a product of Limagrain breeding, the hybrid is focused on intensive cultivation technologies, where resistance to stress factors and high yield potential are critical. The registration of the variety in 2026 confirms its compliance with the current requirements of the Ukrainian agricultural sector, which needs material capable of effectively adapting to changing climatic conditions.

Why "Playmaker" holds its niche

• Origin: The German breeding school of Limagrain Europe guarantees strict quality control of the genetic material.
• Status: Official registration in Ukraine in 2026 confirms that it has passed all necessary tests for compliance with yield and oil quality standards.
• Technology: As an F1 hybrid, it demonstrates a pronounced heterosis effect, ensuring crop uniformity and predictable development at all stages of vegetation.

For farmers planning crop rotation, "Playmaker" becomes a tool that allows for risk mitigation through proven genetics. In the highly competitive market of rapeseed hybrids, this variety stands out precisely for its adherence to European quality standards, adapted to Ukrainian soil conditions.
