Fuga

Raps Kuga — this is a medium-early hybrid of winter rapeseed developed by the company Lembke and introduced to the market in 2017. It is characterized by high yield potential, reaching up to 65 c/ha, and high oil content exceeding 45%. The hybrid features compact plant types with a height of 155–160 cm, which facilitates cultivation and harvesting, as well as suitability for direct combine harvesting. Seeds are supplied at a sowing rate of 1.5 million per seeding unit.

One of the key features of rapeseed Kuga is its high adaptability to various climatic conditions and sowing dates. The hybrid successfully grows on both light and heavy soils, demonstrating excellent regenerative capacity after stress factors. It possesses very high winter hardiness and drought resistance, as confirmed by test results, for example, a yield of 48.2 c/ha under severe drought conditions in the Kherson region. Due to these qualities, Kuga is recommended for cultivation in southern regions of Ukraine and other areas with limited water availability during the spring-summer period.

Rapeseed Kuga also exhibits high resistance to diseases and lodging, ensuring stable yields and reducing the risk of losses. Rapid autumn development allows the hybrid to successfully pass the winter period, while its versatility in sowing dates enables flexible planning of agronomic technologies. All these characteristics make rapeseed Kuga a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve stable and high yields under various cultivation conditions.
