Rapeseed Belinda

Stable Yields for Spring Rapeseed

When planning spring rapeseed sowing, predictability is always the top priority. The "Belinda" variety from the German breeder P.H.Petersen Saatzucht Lundsgaard is a classic that does not fail in temperate climates.

Field Performance and Cultivation

The primary focus when choosing "Belinda" is its oil content. A stable 40–45% oil content in the seeds ensures a solid price at market. The variety responds well to fertilization while maintaining enviable resistance to environmental stress, which is crucial for spring planting.

• Crop Type: Linear spring rapeseed variety.
• Oil Content: High levels (40–45%).
• Manufacturer: P.H.Petersen Saatzucht Lundsgaard (Germany).
• Yield Potential: 20–30 c/ha depending on agrotechnical conditions.

In the field, "Belinda" shows uniform germination and even ripening, which is critical when planning harvest operations. Crop maintenance comes down to standard pest monitoring and timely treatment; the variety does not require "exotic" protection solutions.

The bottom line is simple: this is a rational choice for farms that value the German breeding quality of P.H.Petersen and need a proven, predictable result without the excessive costs associated with expensive first-generation hybrids.
