Sunflower ES Primis Euralis

Field Stability and Adaptability

EC Primis by Euralis Semences is a mid-early sunflower hybrid that has established itself as a reliable tool for farmers focused on consistent yields, even under challenging climatic conditions. French breeding standards from Lidea (formerly Euralis) prioritize phytosanitary robustness, and this hybrid is a prime example of that focus.

Crop Health as a Top Priority

The primary competitive advantage of EC Primis lies in its genetic resistance. In high-humidity conditions where pathogen pressure is at its peak, this hybrid demonstrates excellent resilience against key diseases:

• White rot (root and head forms);
• Downy mildew;
• Phoma.

Furthermore, the genetics effectively suppress the development of Phomopsis and powdery mildew, which helps reduce the need for fungicide applications and lowers overall production costs. The plant features a sturdy stem of medium height (ranging from 150–180 cm depending on soil fertility and management intensity), ensuring excellent lodging resistance even during strong winds before harvest.

Who Should Choose This Hybrid?

EC Primis is optimal for growers operating in regions with high infection pressure. Its potential is fully realized in fields that require a balance between high initial growth energy and stability during maturation. Thanks to its mid-early maturity group, it serves as a convenient predecessor for winter crops, allowing for timely field preparation.

It is important to note that this hybrid does not require extreme intensive input levels, yet it responds well to standard fertilization programs. By choosing EC Primis, you are betting on proven French genetics that minimize the risk of yield losses due to diseases, serving as a dependable, low-maintenance asset in your crop rotation strategy.
