Description DUNGAN RADISH 12/8
The Dungan 12/8 radish variety is a late-maturing vegetable with a vegetative period from mass emergence to technical maturity of 40–55 days. The root crops of this variety are large, weighing up to 80 grams, with a bright raspberry-red skin decorated with white-pink transverse grooves. The radish flesh is white, juicy, and has a mildly sharp taste, making it attractive to consumers.

This variety is distinguished by its high yield – about 4 kilograms of produce can be collected from one square meter. Dungan 12/8 radish is resistant to bolting and tolerates dry conditions well, allowing it to be grown both in open ground and in greenhouses. Thanks to its dense flesh and pleasant taste, it is widely used in fresh form.

The root crops store well at temperatures from +2 to +4 degrees Celsius, which ensures long-term preservation of their market appearance and taste qualities. The variety was bred and approved for cultivation by the Kazakh Scientific Research Institute of Potato and Vegetable Husbandry and recommended for all regions, which confirms its adaptability and reliability in various climatic conditions.
