Radish PYTACHOK

A High-Efficiency Choice for Early Spring Production

The «Pyatachok» radish, developed by Agrofirma Aelita, is a strategic choice for growers targeting the ultra-early market. With a maturation cycle of just 18 to 20 days, it allows for highly efficient turnover in greenhouses, freeing up space for subsequent crops early in the season.

Key Operational Features

• Exceptional Speed: The primary advantage of this variety is its extremely short cycle. Sown in early spring, it yields marketable produce in less than three weeks, making it ideal for capturing the premium price window.
• Root Characteristics: Despite its rapid development, «Pyatachok» produces impressive, large roots weighing between 350 and 400 grams. Their uniform round-oval shape, coupled with a vibrant red color and a distinct white tip, ensures high consumer appeal in retail settings.
• Application in Farming: This variety is optimized for film greenhouses and low tunnels. Proper crop density is essential; given the rapid weight gain of the roots, growers should ensure consistent moisture and spacing to prevent overcrowding, which allows each plant to reach its full potential size without competition.

For professionals involved in conveyor-belt vegetable production, «Pyatachok» provides a reliable, predictable link in the supply chain. The stability of the genetics from Agrofirma Aelita ensures uniform germination and consistent output, enabling growers to manage their harvest logistics with precision.
