DONAR

Red Radish DONAR F1 is an early-maturing hybrid of Dutch selection, ripening in just 23-25 days after sowing. This variety is characterized by high yield — up to 4 kg per square meter, making it attractive for commercial cultivation. The roots are round, smooth, and have a vibrant red color with a white core. The average weight of one root is 20-30 grams, and the diameter is 3-4 cm. The flesh is dense, juicy, uniform, without voids or bitterness, which remains even when overripe or under-watered. The taste is refreshing and mildly spicy, making Red Radish DONAR appealing to consumers.

The hybrid is resistant to low temperatures and can grow well under insufficient light, allowing it to be cultivated both in spring and autumn. Red Radish DONAR is not demanding regarding soil type and temperature regime, broadening cultivation possibilities. Additionally, the plant has a short leafy rosette and is resistant to leaf yellowing, simplifying care and enhancing crop quality. The recommended sowing rate is 250-350 seeds per square meter, and sowing depth is 2-2.5 cm.

The harvested Red Radish DONAR crop is well-suited for long-distance transportation and can be stored under cool conditions, enabling its sale on fresh markets while preserving its quality. Sowing in trays followed by transplanting at a 5 x 15 cm spacing is also possible. The hybrid is produced in the Netherlands and Switzerland, confirming the high quality of seeds and reliability of the variety.
