Pumpkin Watermelon Pumpkin 'Zdorovya'

Genetic Profile and Architecture

The «Kavbuz Zdorov'yaga» is a sophisticated crossbreed developed by the Institute of Health and Revival of Peoples of Ukraine, merging the botanical properties of pumpkin and watermelon. The core technical feature of this cultivar is its unlimited vine growth. This architecture enables the plant to maintain a continuous vegetative cycle, allowing for efficient nutrient distribution and steady biomass accumulation throughout the growing season.

Internal Fruit Structure

The fruit is easily identified by its distinctive dark green stripes, which signify a high-density, protective rind. Beyond the exterior, the internal anatomy is optimized for both durability and nutritional content:

• High dry matter content, which facilitates efficient processing and drying.
• Synergistic chemical composition resulting from the hybridization of two distinct species.
• Exceptional shelf-life, ensuring the fruit maintains its structural integrity and nutrient density for several months post-harvest.

Agrotechnical Advantages

From an agronomical perspective, the Zdorov'yaga hybrid offers distinct logistic advantages. The durability of the rind, combined with its cellular stability, makes the fruits highly resistant to transit-induced micro-damage. Growers must account for the unlimited vine type during field layout, ensuring adequate spacing to facilitate optimal photosynthesis and access to fruits as they reach physiological maturity.
