Given its morphology—large, deeply lobed leaves and long, prickly petioles—proper spacing is essential for optimal development. While the plant is robust, excessive soil moisture during fruit maturation should be avoided to maintain the integrity of the fruit skin, which exhibits a distinct green color in the early stages.
