The large-fruited pumpkin variety "Ufimskaya" is an early-maturing culture with a maturation period of 83-93 days from mass seedling emergence to the first harvest. The plant is long-stemmed with round-pentagonal green leaves. The fruits have a round-flat, flattened shape with weak segmentation and a thin, flexible rind. The fruit coloration varies from pink and pale pink to yellow-orange and grayish-tone, sometimes with gray stripes and mottling. The fruit mass averages from 4.2 to 7 kg, with light orange or orange-yellow flesh, 4-5 cm thick, juicy and mildly sweet with good taste qualities. The variety is distinguished by high marketable yield, reaching 41.0-60.2 t/h, which corresponds to 4-6 kg per 1 m². The seed nest is whitish-cream with four loose central placentas. "Ufimskaya" possesses drought resistance and relative disease resistance, making it a reliable choice for growing in the Middle-Volga and Ural regions. The fruits are characterized by good transportability and storability, ensuring crop preservation during transportation and storage. This variety was bred and approved for use by the Bashkir Research Institute of Agriculture and the Ufa Federal Research Center RAS. It is recommended for growing in regions with a moderate climate, where early maturation and high productivity are valued. "Ufimskaya" is suitable for various methods of application, including cooking and processing, thanks to its juicy and aromatic flesh, as well as ease of storage and transport.
