Pumpkin Anniversary

The 'Anniversary' pumpkin variety is a late-maturing table-type variety with a vegetation period of 120 to 128 days. The plant is strong, with a long main stem up to 2.5–3 meters in length. The fruits have a round or slightly elongated shape with a slightly segmented surface, colored light gray or brown-orange when ripe. Fruit weight varies from 3.5 to 8 kilograms, with individual specimens reaching a maximum weight of about 8 kg. The skin is thin and easily cut, facilitating processing and preparation.

The flesh of the 'Anniversary' pumpkin has a reddish-orange hue, medium density, crisp, moderately juicy, and very sweet with a pleasant nutmeg aroma. The content of soluble solids ranges from 9.3 to 14.1%, total sugar content — 7–9%, carotene — 12–14 mg%, vitamin C — 12.3–13.6 mg%, and pectins — 1.6–2%. Thanks to these indicators, the variety possesses high taste qualities and beneficial nutritional properties.

The 'Anniversary' pumpkin is characterized by high yield — under proper agronomy, one hectare can produce 26 to 32 tons of quality fruits. Seeds of medium and large size (1.6–2.5 cm), light-brown color, with a 1000-seed mass of 260 to 320 grams, making the variety ideal for seed production. Additionally, the fruits have good transportability and storability, suitable for long-term storage and processing into preserves.
