Plyushka

Plyushka squash is an early-maturing variety with short-vining plants, with vine lengths reaching about one meter. The fruits of this variety are flat-round, orange in color with white stripes, weighing up to 1.5 kg. The squash flesh is bright orange, juicy, with high sugar and carotene content, which gives it excellent taste qualities and makes it suitable for dietary and therapeutic nutrition.

The maturation period of Plyushka squash ranges from 83 to 95 days from germination, allowing for a relatively quick harvest. The plant adapts well to various cultivation methods, including seedling method and direct sowing in soil, with seed sowing depth varying from 4 to 10 cm depending on soil type. To ensure successful growth and increased productivity, the application of organic fertilizers is recommended.

This variety is versatile in use: fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, home cooking, processing into juices, and canning. Plyushka squash is noted for its ability to be stored for a long period if kept in dry air and a ventilated room; additionally, the harvest should be collected with stems to maintain fruit quality.
