Description MAMONTENOK
The Mamontenok pumpkin variety is a late-maturing large-fruited variety with a powerful, long-vining plant. The fruits are round-oval or flat-round in shape, weighing from 20 to 50 kg, and feature a golden-orange color with a smooth or slightly segmented surface. The pumpkin flesh is dense, juicy, tender, and sweet, with high sugar and carotene content, making this variety particularly valuable for infant and dietary food.

The pumpkin's maturity period ranges from 99 to 130 days depending on growing conditions. The plant requires a sunny location, regular watering, and fertilization to achieve maximum yield. Sowing for seedlings is recommended in April, followed by transplanting into open ground in May-June, or direct sowing into open ground at the end of May-June with a sowing depth of 3-4 cm and a planting scheme of 100x150 cm.

The variety is characterized by good resistance to major pumpkin diseases, such as powdery mildew and anthracnose, as well as pests, including melon aphids and spider mites. The fruits are well preserved for 6-8 months, allowing their use over a long period for preparing soups, purees, jams, and other culinary products.
