Pumpkin Vega

The VEGA pumpkin variety is mid-season and high-yielding, making it an excellent choice for growing in the Non-Chernozem region. Each plant forms two to four mature fruits, ensuring a stable and abundant harvest. The fruits are large, with a weight ranging from 5 to 10 kilograms, allowing them to be used for both home consumption and commercial purposes.

VEGA pumpkin has a dense and thick skin, while the flesh is characterized by a reddish-orange color, high juiciness, and pronounced sweetness. These qualities make it particularly appealing for preparing various dishes and preserves. Additionally, the fruits are well-suited for transportation and can be stored until the next harvest, significantly facilitating their marketing and use over a long period.

For successful cultivation of the variety, sowing is recommended between May 25 and June 10, following a planting scheme of 1.5 by 2.4 meters. Harvesting is carried out in the first week of September, allowing for the collection of mature and high-quality fruits. All these characteristics make VEGA pumpkin a versatile and reliable variety for gardeners and farmers.
