The winter wheat variety 'Economy' was included in the register in 2008 and is intended for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe zones. This medium-early variety belongs to high-yield types and is characterized by high potential yields up to 93.8 centners per hectare. 'Economy' is well-adapted to climatic fluctuations, possesses high cold and drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable weather conditions. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to follow optimal sowing dates to ensure good rooting and winter hardiness, avoiding late sowing.

The plant has a medium-sized upright bush with a stem height up to 100 cm. Stems have short internodes and thick walls, providing high resistance to lodging. The ears are of medium length and density, containing oval-egg-shaped medium-sized kernels covered with oval glumes. The kernels of this variety are resistant to shattering, do not spill or germinate in the ear, which contributes to maintaining quality during storage. The kernels contain 14.1% protein and 27.0% gluten, indicating good raw material quality for milling industry.

The 'Economy' variety also exhibits good resistance to pathogenic diseases, reducing the need for intensive chemical protection. The cultivation technology is standard, similar to other high-yield wheat varieties.
