ORDYNKA

ORDYNKA is a variety of winter round-headed wheat (Triticum aestivum L. subsp. sphaerococcum) intended for the production of high-quality grain used in the baking industry. The variety is characterized by a medium-early vegetation period and semi-dwarf growth with a plant height of about 80-90 cm, which ensures resistance to lodging and ease of harvesting. The mass of 1000 grains is 29-33 grams, and the potential yield reaches 90-100 centners per hectare, making it profitable to grow in regions with suitable climatic conditions.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to the main wheat diseases: powdery mildew, yellow rust, and brown rust, while it is susceptible to head fusarium and moderately resistant to septoria. In addition, ORDYNKA has high drought resistance and frost resistance, which allows for successful cultivation in the Central Chernozem and North Caucasus regions of Russia. The grain threshes easily and is resistant to shattering during prolonged standing on the stalk, which facilitates harvesting and reduces crop losses.

The milling and baking qualities of the variety are very high, confirmed by the protein content in the grain reaching up to 18%. This makes ORDYNKA an excellent choice for the production of high-quality bakery products.
