The Summer Original apple variety is a summer variety with an early fruit ripening period, with fruits starting to ripen by mid-summer. The tree is of medium height with a wide, rounded, and spreading canopy formed by branches that depart from the trunk at a right angle. The branch bark is brown with a slight yellowish tint, while the medium-density foliage gives the tree an attractive appearance, making it not only a fruit-bearing but also a decorative element of the garden. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and drought resistance, which allows it to be grown in regions with a hot climate.

The apples are of medium size, weighing from 150 to 200 grams, and have a red color with a light striped pattern. The flesh is white, juicy, and sweet with a refreshing aroma, making the apples ideal for fresh consumption, as well as for making compotes, jams, and fruit salads. The fruit skin is of medium density and tender, while the sturdy pedicel prevents apple shedding, which contributes to the preservation of the harvest.

The variety is characterized by high yield—a mature tree is capable of producing up to 70 kg of fruit annually, starting from the 4-5th year after planting. For successful cultivation, regular watering during fruit formation and pruning to improve crown illumination and prevent overcrowding are recommended. Pollinators for this variety are Gala, Shniga, and Melba apple trees, which contribute to stable fruiting and harvest quality.
