Apple KOROLEV MEMORY

A Reliable Winter Choice for Orchards

Developed by the Zhigulevskie Sady Research Institute, the "Pamyat Koroleva" apple variety is recognized for its exceptional performance in harsh climates. It stands out in the market by offering a high level of winter hardiness paired with strong genetic resistance to common scab (Venturia inaequalis), effectively reducing the need for intensive fungicide spraying.

Flavor and Texture Profile

Many long-storage apple varieties tend to become mealy or excessively hard over time, but Pamyat Koroleva maintains a premium eating experience. With a taste score of 4.5 points, it offers a well-balanced flavor profile and a dense, creamy flesh that retains its juiciness throughout the entire winter storage period. This combination of taste and longevity makes it a competitive choice for both local fresh markets and commercial supply chains.

Key Advantages for Growers

• Disease Resistance: Natural resilience to scab significantly lowers production costs and supports more sustainable cultivation practices.
• Winter Hardiness: The tree consistently recovers from harsh winters, ensuring reliable yields without severe freeze damage.
• Post-Harvest Potential: Excellent storage qualities allow growers to hold their crop until market prices reach their peak in late winter and spring.

For orchardists seeking a balance between minimal maintenance and high product quality, Pamyat Koroleva is a proven asset. While it requires standard pruning for canopy management, its robustness against fungal diseases makes it a low-risk, high-reward variety for modern fruit production.
