NORTHERN DAWN

The tree begins bearing fruit as early as the fourth year after planting, allowing for an early harvest. The plant features thick, round, weakly hairy shoots and large, egg-shaped leaves with a matte surface and delicate venation.

Fruits of this variety have an oval or conical shape of weakly ribbed type, weighing an average of about 75-80 grams. Their coloration is light green with a blurred pink blush, while the flesh is white, juicy, of medium density, and finely granular. The taste of the apples is pleasant, sour-sweet, with a subtle aroma. The storage period of the fruits is up to one month, which allows them to be used fresh during the autumn season.

Northern Dawn boasts high yields - approximately 31 kg per tree or 13 tons per hectare. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the North-West region, including the Kirov region, and requires preventive measures against scab under conditions of a humid and cool climate.
