VIMPHEL

The VIMPHEL potato variety is a medium-ripening table variety developed by Russian breeders in 2016. It is intended for a wide range of applications, including human consumption, as well as for the production of dried potato products such as fries, chips, and puree. The tubers are oval-round in shape, yellow in color, with a weight ranging from 96 to 140 grams. They have a medium-cooking structure, making them versatile for various culinary purposes, including baking and processing.

The VIMPHEL variety is characterized by high yield, ranging from 241 to 560 centners per hectare, as well as excellent storability — up to 93%. It is resistant to serious diseases such as potato blight and golden cyst nematode, and exhibits moderate resistance to alternaria and late blight. Additionally, the variety is low-maintenance and drought-tolerant, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions.
