Victory

Potato variety Victory is a mid-late maturing table type with a vegetation period of 95 to 110 days. The plant is tall with upright, light-green leaves and small leaflets. Tubers are oval-round in shape with small eyes, smooth yellow skin, and white flesh. Marketable tuber weight ranges from 78 to 158 grams, with starch content from 10.3 to 13.2%. This variety has excellent taste and belongs to culinary type A, making it suitable for salads and soups.

Victory is characterized by stable and high yield, ranging from 191 to 304 centners per hectare, with maximum yields up to 319 centners. Tuber marketability is 84-98%, and storability reaches 91%, ensuring good product preservation during storage. Each plant produces 6 to 11 tubers, contributing to the variety's high productivity.

The variety is resistant to potato scab and heat, and it exhibits drought tolerance, allowing cultivation in various climatic conditions, especially in Central and Central Chernozem regions of Russia. However, it is susceptible to golden potato cyst nematode and moderately susceptible to late blight on foliage and tubers. The variety is low-maintenance and well-adapted to standard agronomy, making it attractive for agricultural production.
