Sunflower 7 PNVVF 24 A is an ultra-early hybrid with high yield and oil potential. The vegetation period ranges from 90 to 115 days, allowing earlier harvest and planning for subsequent crops. Plants reach a height of 145–170 cm, have large flat heads with a diameter of 18–24 cm, and high leafiness. The 1000-seed mass is 61–62 grams, with oil content in seeds reaching 50–52%, ensuring additional profitability during processing.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to 7+ races of downy mildew (A–G+), false powdery mildew, as well as diseases such as white and gray rot, rust, fusarium, alternaria, septoria, and sooty mold. Due to its genetic resistance and tolerance to single application of the herbicide Granstar (tribenuron-methyl) at a rate of 50 g/ha, sunflower is suitable for intensive cultivation technologies. High seed purity (99.7%) and low hull content (21–22%) contribute to product quality.
Special attention has been paid to adapting the hybrid to adverse environmental conditions. A strong root system ensures high drought resistance, rated at 9 out of 9, making this sunflower a reliable choice for regions with limited water availability. Low shattering and disease resistance help minimize yield losses and ensure stable performance even under challenging phytosanitary conditions.
