Partner — a medium-early Ukrainian table potato variety, characterized by a vegetative period of about 107 days. The plants of this variety are of medium height, upright, stem-type, with leaves of moderate green color and open form. The flowers are small and white, giving the plant a neat appearance. The tubers are oval-shaped with light beige skin and small eyes with a yellow base. The flesh is yellow, and the average weight of one tuber is about 89-90 grams. The starch content varies within 11.8-14.4%, ensuring good taste qualities, rated 3.6-3.7 points on a taste scale. The Partner variety is distinguished by high resistance to various diseases and pests. It is resistant to cancer and nematodes, has high resistance to iron spot, medium resistance to common scab, stem nematode, late blight of tubers and foliage. The variety also demonstrates field resistance to viral diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe. The yield of the Partner variety averages 45-52 tons per hectare, which is a good indicator for medium-early varieties. Due to its taste qualities and tuber structure, this potato is especially recommended for making French fries. The smooth skin and yellow flesh make it attractive for both home use and commercial production. The variety combines high productivity, disease resistance, and excellent gastronomic properties.
