Sunflower INTERSTELLAR

Stability and oil content: Why Interstellar stands out

French breeding by Maisadour Semences has always been characterized by a pragmatic approach to sunflower hybrids, and "Interstellar" is a prime example. This simple hybrid is developed for those who prioritize high oil output and cultivation efficiency. The main feature of this product is the combination of compact size and robust genetic immunity.

Agronomic Profile

The plant of medium height (140-150 cm) with a convex head is easy to harvest and resistant to lodging. However, the hybrid's key asset is its "armor" against diseases. In conditions of high humidity and infectious pressure, Interstellar demonstrates outstanding resistance to:

• White rot and downy mildew;
• Phomopsis, phoma, and rust;
• Powdery mildew.

This makes it a reliable tool for farms looking to minimize fungicide protection costs without compromising yields. An oil content of 50-55% makes the hybrid attractive to processors, ensuring strong demand and a competitive purchase price.

Who is this hybrid for?

Interstellar is optimal for farmers operating in regions with a moderate risk of typical sunflower diseases. It is a choice for those who need a predictable result without unpleasant surprises like lodging or rot damage. The hybrid's strength lies in clean fields and consistently high oil content, which ultimately justifies the investment in seeds. If you are looking for a technological crop that forgives minor agronomic deviations due to its genetic resilience, this choice is well-founded.
