Romanian cultivar of folk selection. Approved for the North Caucasus region since 1986.
Tree vigorous. Crown broad-pyramidal, becoming rounded and dense with age.
Medium-sized fruits — 30-35 g, oval. Skin dark-purple with light streaks at the base and dense waxy coating. Flesh yellow-green, firm, juicy, very good taste. Pit medium-sized, easily detachable.
Ripe in mid-late season — late August. Fruits are transportable, suitable for fresh consumption, making prunes and other canned products.
High yield. Moderate winter hardiness, high recovery ability. Self-sterile. Moderate drought tolerance. Severely affected by polystigma and clasterosporiosis.
