This variety was obtained at the Belarusian Research Institute of Fruit Growing by crossing Perdrihon x Hungarian Ajanca. Breeders: V.A. Matveev, Z.A. Kozlovskaya. Registered in the State Register of Selection Achievements of the Russian Federation since 2002.
Medium-sized tree, with a sparse, round crown.
Fruits are large (over 35 g), round in shape. Main color is dark red, with a blue bloom. Pit is small (up to 3.5% of fruit weight). Flesh is yellow, firm, juicy, with a pleasant sweet taste, tasting score 4.3 points. Chemical composition of the flesh: dry matter — 18.6%, acids — 1.1%, sugars — 12.1%, ascorbic acid content — 1.15 mg/100g. Harvesting period: August.
Begins fruiting on the 3rd–4th year after planting in orchards on seedling rootstocks. Partially self-fertile. Resistant to cluster sporiosis.
Mid-season ripening variety, cold-hardy, high-yielding (up to 16 tons/ha with 5 x 3 m spacing on seedling rootstocks of Alacha).
